transparent background

i have added a motion blur text in my movie. i created part of it in photoshop, adding a motion blur to my word. then in flash i created the word again without a motion blur. it works fine, but when i change my bkground colour, there is a white box around my word. how to i make it transparent? thanks in advance!

Usually if you save a copy from photoshop, save it as a .GIF and you will have a way to set transparency. and that will make the background transparent, so jsut save it a as a .GIF in photoshop
