anfy applet in swish, so close
ok here's the idea. everybody knows the famous 'lake applet' for those of you who don't know it http://www.technosets.be.tf .i've tried to build this in swish but i've encountered a problem. here's what i've done so far.
1) captured the applet to an avi
2) split the avi up into several jpegs (around 80 to be exact)
3) inserted all the jpegs in swish
4) set a place tag at every jpeg (frame 0..1..2..3..81)
it works (after an hour work) but there is one catch, the animation is running to slow as you can see in the swf (i cant post the swi because its to big):
http://www.pengo.be.tf/c&b_logo.swf
as you compare it to the original java applet you will see te difference in speed. i think the problem is with the avi capture
because it runs thesame. i've tried to change te framerate of the movie to 50 fps but no change. is there an other way to fix this?
thank you in advance guys

Do you have a remove tag after each jpg when the next one comes in?

just added remove tags after all the place tags (accept the last place) it runs a little bit smoother now but still far from good. if i reduce the size of the movie it runs smooth.

pengo,
what is the frame rate your running at, try upping it a few at a time to see if it will run faster and smoother.

If you run an swf too fast all it will do is bog down the system resources.
Check out swishzones water swi here.
Prolly save you a great deal of work.
