Charactor help???

hello, im TRYING to make a RPG game, its the first i ever made so no doubt it will be poor in some respects. Thing is, im trying to make pixel charactors, but i cant get the angles right for the side views?
this is what i got so far, so if anyone can help me out with a suggestion/tip on how to do side views? thanks guys

If you did what you have, than side view should be a joke. But if someone did it for you, you need some help.

i did do the pixel drawings man, but i did a tutorial that covers each step, but it doesnt give any examples of side vies, all im asking for is a little help/example so i can get the idea like!

I'd recommend looking at some sprites from existing video games to get ideas about how to tackle your own side views.

Places like mysmilies have some video game sprite rips, though I'm sure there are sites which specialize in particular games if you do a search on Google.
