Dynamic resizing of textboxes

I want to create a dynamic textbox that will resize itself to accomodate different length string variables. Is there any way to do this. I am trying to dynamically place several textboxes one beneath the other and use the MC's height to calc the position of the next below. Right now I am using a dummy field and the maxscroll property but it is very cumbersome.

are you using F5 or F6? With F5, it was a pain - the new version brought autoSize for relief
