    im working on my new portfolio site, and am wondering which site is cooler..

    I enjoy reviewing these sites very much. Alot of talent here!
    I gotta ask though. My graghic arts teacher told us that if you base a site on one color, try to use its compliment a little to enance. like blue use orange and green use purple. I thought he was right but I am not seeing this. He also said if using black and white tones to include pictures that are colorful...does this make sense?

    By the way I like number two, It seems more original too me, however they both look very proffessional.

    Heh, I like number 2 the most mainly because of the crystal graphic. I'd still save number 1 for a future client or something.

    thanks for the feedback everyone! im going to go with the second design. at first I thought the chrome one was super smooth, but now the chrome seems a little overdone for a design site...i want a more original site. any other comments?
