    Free Video encoder

Just found a flash video encoder that offers a free version. Only limitation is a small logo on the video that links to them. Purchase version doesn't have logo.

For those here trying to not spend much or just trying to showcase some work might consider it.

Wow, thanks for passing along that link.

Once you encode the video frames, how do you import it into 3dfa?

    Thanks,

I didn't actually try it out (I have MX here) but I assume it outputs a swf file. Then you load it via Loadmovie.

    Alright it works!

    now for a stupid question

I can likely make links to each loadmovie variable to show different movies, do i need to "unload" each movie first?

& how bout placement of the movie within the 3dfa swf file?
I ask because the loadmovie action only works in the browser & have to export to debug.

put the action on its own layer, maybe? im lost but determined

    Thanks again,
    dub

you have to make the loaded movie the same size as your movie... This is a bit of a problem. Unlesss the encoder will let you scale the video withing a larger window.

You don't have to Unload a layer, loading another movie onto a layer replaces whatever is there.
