separating the video and audio inside flash MX?

hi, im very new to video and flash, im wondering if i can import a video file in flash MX then separate the audio and video inside flash? normally i would separate the video and audio in premiere but im wondering if i can just do it directly in flash, because i actually only want the audio not the video file.
