    Hello... I made somthin cool for a client's site in flash 5... view here http://server2040.virtualave.net/p-b/test.html it's at the bottom with all the pics...i want it so when you move your mouse over one box it permanitly shows I, v, etc... instead of it flashing all the time like it is..any help?

    I don't know exactly what you mean - if the movies are supposed to flash until mouse over or what but if you put the action Stop mc's on mouse over, on the button it will stop them.

    I want it so when mouse over the I is permanent and all pictures stop flashing in that one box!

    There are a number of ways to do this. Make the pictures flash from, say frame 1 to 10 and the I fade 11 to 15. Put a button (hit state only - leave the others empty so it'll be invisible) in the mc covering the visible part of it.

    Actions:

    frame 1: Play
    frame 10: Goto 1 and Play.
    frame 15 Stop.

    On the button:
    On (Roll over)
    Go to 11 and Play.

    Gee that would take a long time since each box is a button with a movieclp on "over" any othere easier ways?

    Hey you get fast at this game with practice. 1.5 mins. for each button = about 12 mins. !!!!!!!!!!!
