Hi, Just wanted to ask you waht sort of Curricular Vitae you put together when sending or applying for jobs? Do you send a standard version with links to your online portfolio (Which is a must thesedays)? Has anyone an example? Just want something proffesional looking.

    Thanks

I guess no one wants to give away their secret cv's then! Come on, there must be someone out there willing to share their experiences?
    Thanks Deefa

    I have custom ones made...

I have a full resume. Then I tailor the resume and cut irrelevant stuff out when applying for a position. tailored resume

    gSOLO_01,

That's good advice. Tailor your resume to the job for which you are applying.

Another approach is recommended by the guy who wrote a book a number of years back called "What Color Is Your Parachute?" Look for companies and see what their needs are. Most jobs are not posted. With some time, effort and skill you may find a company that has a need they have not addressed yet.

More on Richard Nelson Boles famous book can be found at: http://www.bainvestor.com/parachute.html

    Good luck!
