haha,that´s fun,this thread somehow always gets bumped to the top just when i start to forget about it
i´m sure saphua wasn´t that serious with it,though thanks for promoting me like that
when i started the thread i didn´t think being mod is something to be deserved i just thought it´d be good to have more persons caring for the board as the actual mods are rarely here nowadays.
anyho,as obviously noone in position to decide that cares,i won´t bother either and go on writing my posts as i did before and
increase meaningful postsrate by 23.2% as blinkok states at the end of his posts

well, the question is:
why would this forum need any mods ANYWAY???
to me it seems that people here are proffesional and behaved enough in their comments and interactions that they wouldn't need a mod any way....
plus, are the real mods around anyway?? didn't really see much of them - comments or otherwise - maybe I'm not on these boards enough...hehehe....

anyway, just a thought....

As the official music director of the Tomsamson for MOD campaign, I hereby declare that I am unfrozen from that giant block of ice I was stuck in for the past two or so years!

Yeah, I was uh... fishing... in Antarctica, and stuff, and well, a stinkin penguin went after the fish I had my eyes on, so the little guy decided to become a wise guy, and shoved me into the water. Unfortunately for me, I was wearing 80 lbs of furs and wore some 20 lb boots. It was very hard to swim. I managed to get half of my body out of the water, but my legs were already frozen in the water. After about four weeks, my arms finally gave out, and I became completely frozen. As luck would have it, there was a nice current that I was stuck in, and it carried me all the way up to Jamaica. There, I unthawed, and chartered a boat through the Bahamas, and landed on U.S. soil near Georgia.

Uh, sorry for the lack of posts and support, but hey, my campaign badge has stuck on all this time! Tomsamson for mod everyone! Hop to it! Make it so!

I hope to be posting more frequently again... I have a lot of catch-up reading to do.

Congrats Tom! You deserved it! And I see that you're pretty active too! When did all of it happen, what were the events surrounding it? Wow, I'm happy for you man, I know how much you wanted it. It's great that you've gotten it! =)

i wasn´t chosen mod because of this thread (well it probably helped a bit but i was also told that you can´t get elected as mod by the members back then).
but then,a while after this thread some of the other mods only visited the board rarely or not at all anymore,so there was need for a new mod and as they knew i was ready and waiting for the job .. =)
