    Audio for a music site

I'm making an mp3 player for a friend's website. he is starting up a distribution for some bands.

    1. what would you guys recommend for kbits of the mp3 itself?

    2. do you load in the entire mp3 before you start playing it?

    3. any other tips or advice on flash and audio would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks
    tyler

Kbits, the lowest you find acceptable!

As for the rest, check this:

Personally I think that 96 kb/s is a good choice. And you would probably like to stream your audio too. No one wants to wait more than necessary.
