Copied Mute/Unmute Button problem

I copied the mute/unmute button from "sampleplayer5.fla" into the "player.fla" which contains a drag bar (both flas were downloaded from Wildform.com). When I play a movie using the new "player.fla" with the copied mute/unmute button, I am able to mute the audio without any problem but when I click on the mute icon again, it will not turn the sound back on unless I press the pause button and then press play again. What am I missing?
