The Volume Control is not for the SiteVolume..it is for the Musik Volume. Its like a Jukebox.
Go to musik section.
Click a track
Watch track load
When track is finished loading then the volume control works for that section.
Click and hold move your mouse Up/Down to effect the volume of the selected audio track.

My first impression was it seemed kinda FI-ish with the realistic metal texture. Transitions were very 2A, very clean and cool. 2A seem a little out of there element doing this project, and although I'm not hugely impressed with the aesthetics of the site, I think they did a good job, and it does suit the client very well.

It's funny that you say they are sort of out of their element with this site, because many people at FK criticize 2A for not taking on diverse-enough projects. Ironic.
As for the FI feel, I agree, it does have sort of an FI feel to it. But I like it. And I know that 2A and FI have been working together so I'm not altogether surprised. What better idea than to combine the expertise of 2A and FI to make one SUPER web design company?

I think if I had just come across that site on my own and not through FK, I would have not guessed in a million years that it was done by 2A. First, because they didn't brand it with the 2Advanced Studios logo, and secondly they didn't use any of their cliche styles and effects on this site.
This is the first site in their portfolio that seems uncharacteristic of them, but that doesn't make it bad....I actually really dig the site and all of the transitions....TOO ADVANCED!

So aparently it was the inept factor after all. 
I had been trying to rotate the volume nob....which I imagine most people would try to do when they see a rotating nob. Kinda awkward to have to pull down in order to make it move up. Just an observation.....
