Shadow problem with Swift 3d v3

Hey, I've got the newest version of the Swift 3d plugin for Max. My problem is twofold:

First of all, in previous versions of Swift, I could get shadows of varying darkness, whereas now, in this newest version, I can only get jet black shadows. Why is this?

Secondly, is there anyway to export without the multiple layers or groups (ie, seperate layer/group for colors, shadows and outlines, etc.) like in previous versions of Swift? Thanks.

kingjoe, I'm not seeing the same issue with the shadows. have you changed your rendering options to something a bit more limited?

    I'm still testing though.

Hmm, could you post an image so I could take a look at one of your cell shaded shadow renders so that I could compare?
