Water colour?

What is the best way to do water colour. What i have is a fairly detailed penciled drawing which i want to water colour on the computer. I have never really tried digital imagery of this sort on the computer and i was wondering if their was a good tool and program to use specifically for this.

A tablet and painter would be the easiest way to get a watercolor look .

hah, the simple color brush is the best basic water color
