Is there a way to keep the good sound quality while streaming audio?

I want my animation to match exactly with the sounds when playing. When I choose the stream function and I preview it, the music is all hucked up...and I don't know how to remove that thing...I hope there's a way. can u please help me?

Hacked up?, maybe you need to increase the quality of the streamed file, or maybe you are using your streaming sound inside a MC. Streamed sound outside in _root. sounds good but streamed sound sindie a MC alwyas sound awfull.

If you use streamed sound the animation WILL be streamed. You are probably doing something wrong.

Put the streamed sound in one layer and the animation in the other (in the main timeline).

Don't put streamed sound on a few keyframes and leave a few keyframes blank... because those keyframes that has no streamed sound will be delayed.

[-] <--- keyframes with streamed sound
    [] empty keyframe

    [-][-][-][-][-][][][][][][-][-][-][-][-]

Dont leave any keyframes blank in the layer where you use streamed sound.

You problem maybe is caused by using streamed sound inside a MC, NEVER use streamed sound inside a MC if you want a synced animation...

Well, you could but then would would have to know more about sound.....

Hehe, thaught so. Well. you just can't use it inside a MC.. from my experience. Can't explain why....

Just mark all the frame and cut them and paste them outside.

Tonypa is correct here. Your 'hucked' up sound is probably because your sound quality(and filesize/frame) is too large to stream correct.

You can use the Bandwidth Profiler with Streaming Graph in the Test Movie environment. You can set the client speed in the Debug menu.

You can also make two versions this way. One for 56K and one for broadband.

you see, im a amature in flash

but i think i see your problem...

Try to convert that sound file in to an mp3 (flash can take this)Plus, it reduces the size of the file, big time.

Then, import that in your flash movie.

Put it in the keyframes (or where ever you put it)

    Choose stream on sound options.

Click on file, publish settings, click on the flash tab.

You see where it says "Audio stream" ?

Choose the bit rate and preprocessing (i think thats how you spell it ) If this does not work please reply saying it does not work.

Guys. his problem has been solved... and he doesn't mean streaming as in opening a page while loading.... he mean the sound set to stream so he can sync his animation to the streamed sound.

When the movie is done loading, press play.

    start steaming sound....

    get it?

(I think this is what he was doing)
