Decrease size of Preloader

Can somebody tell me why my preloader is 64 kb. When I go to the control>test movie the first frame is showing 64kb. Why is it sooo big. All it is, is three different sized stars that are each a Graphic put into a movie clip, a loading bar and the word "Loading..". When I go to the page it takes a while and then the preloader finally appears and its already at 50 percent. To test my theory of it being too big I copied the Preloader scene out of my fla file and into a new fla file. Sure enough when I test the scene it is now only 12KB. What could be in the first frame that is making it so big.

Ive attached just the preloader and not the main page.

Because you're probably using components, linkage from the Library (attached movie clips or sounds exported on the first frame), and/or embedded fonts, which all have to download on the first frame, before your preloader shows up.
