    Website designer needed.

Im not sure where to post this so I guess I will start here.

Anyway Im looking for someone to design a website for me.

The site will be for a Game server hosting site (CS, BF1942, that sort of thing). It needs to be a edgy, hi-tech, metal looking Flash site or a great html site with a flash header/logo. The site itself is small, Im looking for just a few pages with some info and thats about it. It needs to be very eye grabbing and simple at the same time.

Im mostly looking for somebody that has established work and can show me examples of related sites. However I am willing to give somebody else a shot if they seem very interested in it.

This isnt for free, I have money and am willing to pay to have this done.

Please post here or get into contact with if you are interested.

    Thanks for your time.

I am not much of a designer, but rather a programmer. Send me some specifics.

The people that have emailed me Im going to send more specific info to.

As far as the budget Im trying not to spend more than $125 dollars on this. Im willing to spend more if needed. My biggest fear is spending a fortune on something I dont really like.

Maybe some people will be willing to do some examples for me?

Anyway let me know what you think.

$125 is quite the small budget, maybe a new kid will try it out but to be honest, that is an insult to this industry. People think they can get high quality work for cheep because it sounds easy but it is in fact the opposite.

sk8Krog I think you need to read my post again.

Im am willing to spend more money. And your post is EXACTLY why the budget is what it is. Im looking for people that are actually interested in doing this. Im looking for somebody that will take the time to do it right, ask questions and say "hey 2Gunz I would like to do you site what do you think about this".

Your website doesnt work, I would be a fool to give you whatever price you are are looking for and hope it works out. Get my point?
Weed out the money grubbers and get somebody that is really interested. Doesnt take much effort to say "I have a great idea and I can do this...but $125 isnt enough" There are alot of really talented people looking for work, and this should be a fun little site to do.
The people that Churn out 900 templates and 50 websites a day is not what Im looking for. If thats what I was looking for I could just pay
$400 for the first person that walked up. Simple easy, and done.

A little pride and effort in your work goes a long way.

    My thoughts,

    2Gunz

    Hi 2Gunz,

I made a little something and I'm interrested in doing this, with maybe a little higher price. I attached a jpg of what it could look like. The top is gonna be flash, and would have some more things maybe moving, but this is just a rough draft. Tell me what you think.

Heres some more information about what Im looking for.

Im looking for a site template or website to be done.
Im really interested in a Flash site, however a very nice
plain HTML site would be fine.

Im looking to spend around $125 for the project. However
as I pointed out before if the job requires more money I
am willing to pay. Money isnt an issue really, however
I dont throw money at things and hope they work out.
If you are looking for more money I expect to see some
things in return. Nice sites, a portfolio, and a compleated
project that is similair to mine. If you are new and dont
have these things Im more than willing to give you a shot.
However I would like to see the start of the project before
    I give the go ahead.

    My site.....

The site is for a Game server rental company. It only really
needs to be just a few pages. It does however needs to very
organized and easy to get around.

    The look....

Im looking for a Dark, metal, computer kinda look. With a
header that has Artwork/ screenShots from online FPS games
like Counter-Strike, BF1942, UT and Medal of honor.

Below are sites that do the same thing that I do. I dont
Like or dislike them, they are for an example of what you
    will be doing.

    http://griffinrun.com/cgi-bin/refer?id=csinfo
    http://www.ecgnetwork.com/
    http://www.soundofdeath.com/

    Stuff I like........

    http://www.ilangame.com/index.php?case=menu&show=1
The Header is nice and I like the layout. Its a little more than I need thou.

    http://www.game-extreme.com/main.asp
The header is decent... not my thing but at least its interesting.

    http://www.logicservers.net/
Very nice Header..... The rest of the site is simple and I like it.

    http://www.gear2fear.com/default.html
I like it but Im not sure why.

    http://www.wickedservers.com/
I like the Artwork on this site.

    http://www.quickfrag.com/
One of my Favorites so far.... really simple, nice to look at and easy to get
    Around.

    http://artofwarcentral.com/main.asp
Nice header.... rest of the site I hate.

    http://www.fanaticservers.com/
logos are cool and I really like it because its dark.

All the above sites are interesting... however Im looking for more of a dark theme.

    Some templates I like.....

    http://www.freelayouts.com/templates...shots/1251.gif

    http://www.freelayouts.com/templates...shots/1254.gif

Anyway Thats about it from me for now..... If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    2Gunz

I would HIGHLY recommend Mike Coutermarsh. His email is me@mikecoutermarsh.com if you wish to contact him. I love his work for a number of reasons:
    1) He is fast
    2) His flash is awesome!
    3)Reasonable prices

For example, here is a clan site he was working on for me:

Shoot him an email....you won't regret it

    Thanks,
    YH

2Gunz, when you have located the designer of your choice, if you could post some sort of 'resolved' message here so people don't think that this offer is still open, I'm sure everyone'd appreciate it.

    Cheers

    Wow Mike! Looking nice!

Anyway, if you needed any further proof of Mike's work, check out my website, which he designed: http://www.younghistorians.com

Second, Mike's work will be featured on Joshua Davis' site, PrayStation. Josh is one of the webs premier developers, doing much work in Flash. If you want proof of the email, contact ME, and I'll forward it to you.
