    paint my room

    hi

    i don't know where this post would be appropriate, but it's none of the categories we have on fk...so anyways

    (living with parents)we moved into a new place, and i have practically the whole basement. this is awesome, but all the walls are white..

    i want to do something funky with them, good colors, maybe a bit of sketching or painting, or sprayburshing. the prob is that it's in 'the basement' and barely any natural light, so i have to keep the color fairly light. anyone know of websites where i can get ideas from. not just with colors but design techniques (i don't think i'm going for a sponge or cloud effect, i'm not 13), lol, but i haven't seen a lot of sketchs or light mural stuff on any room walls? i'm lookng for inspiration..

    #FEFEFE was the colour we used for some crazy skin for a website once... not sure if it'll make a great wall colour though

    My room now is #37C700 on the top and #D94700 on the bottom.. I made that choice 3 years ago.. Now i've matured abit.. gotta go back to white now!

    Uh...I don't think most hardware stores will match paint to hex values.

    that would be halarious. Blue and yellow scheme, and he could put the post button, and maybe the mod toolbar. That would be great.
