    Good Quality JPEG in F5

How can I get Flash NOT to try to optimize my gifs, jpegs and bmps?

Bring your images into Flash at highest quality unless...

If you are using photoshop just save them as a standard non progressive jpg. Flash will use jpg imported data. The jpg will be quite heavy this way however. You can switch it to use document default quality later in the library properties box.

However most people run into problems by trying to scale images in Flash. We always save as progressive max quality and at same size we will use in Flash and have no problems.
