Duplicating Symbols

Hi,

I know that using several instances of a same symbol will not increase the final file size, but what happens with duplicated symbols? If I duplicate the same symbol twice at the library, will the file size be increased, or is the same case as the instances?

its the same size. duplicating an mc is the exact same thing as placing it on the stage multiple times...
