Outsourced Flash - What can I expect to pay?

What can I roughly expect to pay for outsourcing a Flash Intro for client with the following requirements:

    1. A short intro to a web site 7- 8 seconds (I will be designing the non-Flash html inner pages myself)
    2. Stock photos fine but would integrate image of their product at some point. Need to somehow approximate or show moving water (e.g waterfall, river, spring).
    4. The idea is to convey Fresh Pure Clean Refreshing feel to the site i.e. water from its source.
    5. Sound loop = water sounds of some kind or any other very relaxing or soothing sound/music.

Ballpark or a general range would be fine.

    please read this.

It is very difficult to answer your question honestly. One user here might make something similar for a few hundred dollars, others might charge a thousand whereas the pricey pros here would charge much more.

There are so many input variables when it comes to working out prices that only you yourself can do it.

Heres a formula to help you out though

    ((HW * R) * 3)+ H + D + T

    HW - Hours Worked
    R - Rate per Hour
    H - Hosting Charges
    D - Domain Name Purchases
    T - Tax costs
    Living the dream

i'm sure you could find a 14 year old using a hacked copy of flash who will do it for 17 dollars, the latest playboy, and two burritos.

    Maybe even minus the burritos.
