Like any designer, I have tons of custom typefaces imagined or partially designed, but never had the discipline to take one to completion after I first found out it is not as simple as drawing the alphabet and saving as a font.

So, now I have FontLab TypeTool 3 and intend to make a real font. If there are any type designers out there who have a basic level "checklist" of what any basic font should include, I'd love to hear. Stuff like "at a minimum, include the characters ABC..." etc.
