    That's too vague... It's a heavily factor dependent decision...

    -Are your skills worth a worthy profit?
    -How much time did you invest?
    -Is the customer completely satisfied with the end result?
    -What kind of traffic are we looking at? (I would add a discount if the traffic has potential for attracting substantial business)
    -Are your prices competitive of today's online media providers?

    I give this five minutes before it is moved to the boardroom.

    However it depends on the length of the intro, difficulty, how much the consumer is willing to pay etc.

    Like genesis said, your being to vague.

    ok... 20.00 to 2000.00.

    20 for some animated text and shapes that you push out in under 20 minutes with zero style or skill.

    2000.00 if you use 3D objects, it's not only going to be used for the web, but possibly for their CD, as well as other marketing and maybe even be the attract scene(s) for a kiosk for use a trade show.

    all points in-between are dependent on how, what, where it will be used and the scope of the project as well as your skill, ability to sell yourself and your vision, and the happiness of the customer.

    </vague>

    We don't know... It depends on the range of the content you're providing...

    You have to provide us an example or range of what you're providing... Then we can be of more help to you...

    I think Gerbick's prices are a bit low. I would charge a minimum of $500 for any intro work that involves technology. I would move up the price from there based on what is needed specifically. Rule number one in this business is to not under-sell yourself. At least that's what I was taught. Don't matter to me if someone else can do it for cheaper, you are setting a bad example by not charging a minimum of 500 for Flash work. Anything with pictures, fading and moving around with text should be no less than $1,500. Remember, you aren't just charging per hour, but per technology used as well. That's my $.02. Isn't this against the law to discuss? I'm sorry if it is.
