Why i'm living with my parents until i'm 42

Well, they've gone over to the east coast for the summer, leaving me here ALLL alone. Before they left, we went shopping and I picked out stuff I thought was easy to cook. Tonight I (was) exciting because i'm having chicken nuggets. I pre-heat the stove to 500 (didn't mean to). I then put in the nuggets and let them cook too long, before taking them out to flip them, I grab the pan with bare hands.

It hurts like crazy, and i'm sure a blister will form soon. Coming up the stairs, I realize it's pouring rain out, and every window in the house is open.. Too late, the window thingys, and carpet is already soaked...

    I'll keep you updated

That is, of course, assuming that they'll let you live to see 42 after this mess...

lol, i've never done this before. I was going to order pizza tongiht, but I figured i'd do it the oldin' style way

I used the glove now, everything is under control (for now).

This sorta reminded me about the time I was cooking ravioli, I put the stove on as hot as it'll go so it cooks faster. Anyways I get a phone call, and the guy won't shut up, so I end up talking for 10 minutes, and when i'm done the ravioli is stuck to the pan, and black ect.. so I had to take it out back and scrap in out with a fork

This is the reason Home Economics should have remained a requirement for high school graduation.

Yeah, you can do algebra (fat lot of use that is), but feed yourself? Keep yourself dry?

No, that's out of the question.

Even monkeys can work out not to touch things that are hot.

If we're lucky your parents will see fit to have you put down when they return. Society will not be lost without your genes in the pool.

In fact, to speed things up, go back downstairs, turn on the oven and put your head inside. Do not remove head until golden brown and cooked thoroughly.

yup and I'm guessing at some point in his life mr Brown might have seen something hot come out fo the oven.

Of course, monkeys also play in their own faeces so not touching hot things might not be such a good measure of intelligence.

Kind of funny that he said he'd keep us updated. Since he hasn't posted in a while and all.
