Yeh, I reckon AfterEffects and alike are going to play a big part in the embelishments of the site, just as we've seen sprinkled throughout their recent work.
The 2A interview in Computer Arts mentions that there are going to be case studies on the site describing how certain projects were approached and developed.
It's gonna be interesting reading.

Wow! great site. Nice overall feel. Smooth transitions. Color scheme was a little dark but nice nonetheless. I can give you a 2advanced case study.
Keep an eye on Gmunk, whenever he comes out with something new rip it off.
Then just insert client's copy and images.
Interesting though how many people ( judging by this thread ) have no life at all and obsess with such trivial matters. It's not like these guys can come up with anything original anyway and even if they did it would still be just design without content.

to all of you whos wondering, well major parts fo the last 3 sites i had though of almost the same thing many years ago when the technology wasnt there, so in my collection of over 20 scrapbooks, the last 3 have been in the first 9 so i am wondering if it'll follow a similar pattern nad be in scrapbook 11-13 and if it is, i'll go with something neare scrapbook 15 for my design ..... i think its the conspiracy of them coming into my home while im sleeping with funky alien technology and looking at my insane drawings and ramblings

2 1/2 hours left, i'm just surfin' the net, listening to mp3's...i've got 2advanced.com up right now in the background, just sitting there, gotta see what happens when it hits zero.
For all we know, it's prolly _already_ launched, and they could have programmed the SWF to advance ONLY when the timer hits zero, and when that happens, the timer SWF would kick itself outta server memory with an unloadMovieNum and a getURL, giving them enough time to delete the countdown SWF and the current index.html page off the server and replace it with the real one.
