flash displays gif if it can't detect a flash player?

Somewhere I remember reading that MX automatically displays a gif or jpg of the flash image if it finds that the viewer doesn't have a flash player installed in his/her computer.

This doesn't seem to be happening for me.

Does anyone know anything about this feature?

    Thanks :-)

In publish settings you click on the html tab. at the top you have a dropdown for template,
select 'detect for flash 6' if you then click the info button it tells you it will detect the player and put an image instead .....

so publish as a gif, a swf and html and you've got it! when you read the html you'll see its written some nice javascript for you.
