Start with something stupid and work up. Think of a simple idea or an object. Like "car tire". Now think backwards. "Where did the car tire come from?" "A car perhaps?" "How did it come off?" "Did a gremlin do it?". There, now you have a game. You are a gremlin trying to take the tires off cars, while their vier left and right down the free way.

Game idea 1:
Play the role of a rehabilitated crack head with one eye and 12 fingers who lives in New York city who must find his lost teddy bear and find rediscover his childhood, which was lost with his obsession to drugs.

Game idea 2:
Manage your own garbage dump. Organize truck routes, search through the trash and sell stuff on ebay, start a cult.

Game idea 3:
Play as a man dressed as a school bus driver who thinks he's flying through space with the Robinson family. Protect them from crazy aliens and robotic nuisances with your ability to spawn radioactive soda cans from your toenails.

Game idea 4:
Play as a mutant finger nail clipper who just wants to clip toenails like all of his friends. Help him push through the ranks of the finger nail clipper kingdom and become king finger nail clipper.

Why don't you write a game where you are a flash programmer who has run out of ideas. It would be like a life sim, where you have exciting day to day tasks such as drinking coffee, and staring blankly at a computer screen whilst aimlessly clicking the mouse.
Watching telly might also help improve your stats ingame inspiration+=10;

Because the old one was, well.... not what I would call a chatroom (it was a php page. You type something in, and then the page refreshed with your new post....)
