Who are your top 3 web design studios

In terms of design creativity, technical progression.

Nothing to do with the business of webdesign, money etc.

Who's webdesign do you like the best?

I think your poll is a little redundant this time, you can only choose one option from a poll and only once.

    my three favourites right now

    www.hi-res.net
    www.secondstory.com
    www.zymocreations.com

I guess these aren't on the 'cutting edge' though a case could certainly be made for the first two, hi-res are on the cutting edge of creativity and narrative on the web, secondstory do simply amazing work with flash, it might not stand up and dance for you but it's a great use of flash.

zymo's not really butting edge I guess, I just like the way they present themselves.

secondstory is definitely my favorite. As others have pointed out, it's not the flashiest flash, but their narrative and information design is second to none.

I may be a little behind here. I don't understand why secondstory is "simply amazing." Sure they do some quality work but I see nothing that makes them stand out.

Kurt Noble Inc. is the most consistent design firm on the planet, in my opinion. If you take a look at their portfolio, there isn't one bad project in there. Also, I don't think any company has as much style and presence as KNI does.

Barbarian Group is an awesome design firm from Boston. They create awesome corporate sites, and the co-creator is from www.flight404.com

Squarewave fills my interactive, cutting-egde needs. They bang out great, slick sites that just rock.

Those are some massive sites in their
    portfolio! Great organization and
    development skills I should say.
