Fighting with XML....

Good Day People,

I need to make an event calendar. I laid out a basic template to get working for further expansion. At first it didn't load the xml so I threw in a preloader. However the XML just does not operate - I have tested all the other systems (methods, their calls, etc.). The trace in the onLoad method doesn't trace.

The premise is the following (also written over the main swf screen):
Date btns are generated, XML is loaded.
Choose one of the populated dates 26 or 27 - it populates a clickdate variable that is called.
Click the event number button in green - it uses the variable and calls a method to populate the fields.

Yet, it either does not parse or the method's array unparsing does not jive.
