can't make up my mind if I liek it or not.

Overall gives a real nice feel, very soothing but the transitions arent too smooth and im not keen on some of the typography.

    Although definetely a cool site.

nice site, the frame rate could be higher to smoothen the transitions and the mask transitions isn't giving the effect he wanted, he should work a little more on it.

the layout is very pleasing, color scheme is very nice and the navigation is good also, the content transitions are what i think that need more work.

    overall it's a good job.

    Thanks for the comments.

Im having a terrible time getting this thing to run at the right frame rate on all computers, you need atleast a 1ghz CPU without any other large programs running for it to be up to speed.

The lower version should not have any lag on transitions.

Frame rate for the Enhanced version is 35.

    Thanks,
    -Mike

well mike in my opinion 63FPS is the real thing, it's what i use and lot's of other people... don't worry about pushing it up, 60 would be perfect but there's a bug in the flash player between 60-62.

Ill give it a try, on all newer systems it runs exactly as fast as I want it to. On others it lags, so Im gonna have to compromise and find that sweet spot.

I pushed it up to 40fps, any further makes it lose the feeling im going for.

If that doesnt help, I would appreciate it if you would email me your system configuration.

Well its not your system, personal taste I guess. If I turn it up it will lose the feeling I was going for.

I appreciate your effort in helping me make it better.

    Thanks,

no problem and i didn't say i don't like it, i do... i just think that maybe the effect needs a little work, but it's nothing really big, just a tiny detail and maybe it's only my personal taste. overall i really like it.

It looks great and good transitions on my computer. I am running a P4 1.5 gig, 256 megs of ram and a nvidea card. Anything slower than my computer has to be over 18 months old and they will replace it soon anyway.

ok, here is my take on this cool site. I didn't care for the buttons on the splash page to select the option of enhanced or low visual. Didn't look right to me. The transitions are neat when the site loads, but mixing it up with other transitions would be better. Seemed to get old quick in my tastes. Background ambient music is killer. One of those sites you leaving running in the background while you surf, because it is relaxing.....LOL. Overall I think it is pretty good site.

no problem. Did you use soundforge for that? It is very nice. I have been looking at a lot of flash sites for the last few years and rarely do I find a site that has nice ambient music. Off the top of my head I only can recall....maybe 4 or 5. I also forgot to mention that I like the header animation with the plants, flowers. Very nice also.

The sound was done in acid, using the chopper tool with loops from http://www.platinumloops.com/.

Was going to add audio to the buttons but it made it lag a bit and made the site a little to overwelming.

    Thanks Everyone,

I do like the feel. Very smoothing. bg music enhances that.
A detail in the home section: did you (or Einstein) meant: Imagination is more important than knowledge (instead of then)
Then again, as i'm french, i may not be right
