Onion skinning, and then "traced" the previous frame. My memory isn't that good.

I should also note I drew it about 10 times bigger and then shrunk it down.

Anyhow, I forgot to mention it earlier, but you have a very amusing animation, dude. And all the pieces fit together nicely (from the loading screen to the actual animated piece...)

hey everyone! I am starting out a feature bi-weekly or so cartoon. It will star the characters from my cartoon, the four studs ( http://www20.brinkster.com/thefourstuds/toon.html ). Basically I want to try and get people to e-mail with questions about how to be "cooler". Then one of my characters who is rather arrogant but oblivious to the fact that he is not cool, will answer it in a cartoon. So if you'd like to help me kick this off, e-mail jasonlackey@comcast.net with a question. Thanks a ton!

    hey guys!
munkufust, interesting idea there-- cool little animation you posted earlier, too! kinda like strongbad (homestarrunner) how he does his emails... but not, I guess? (for your idea) sounds cool.

man last weekend I got sick so I just sat in front of hte ocmputer and ANIMATED. 105 frame-by-frames, 15 frames a sec = 7 seconds worth of animation, 2 full days and 17 frames that have "finalized outlines" meaning that their outlines of the character are complete, but no background or color yet. AAAGH! eh what happens is the character, Spencer, runs and runs forward, the camera turns around him as he jump-kicks a wall (when he kicks, the foot is right in the camera, so to say) and that's a glass wall he kicks, or it will be at least.... does an in-air turn and flip, lands, (now the camera's facing him) and he gets up. it'll have more b4 and after, think I already posted all this.... just saying I actually drew out all the skeletons 4 those frames and I'm animating it, should I post a beta, even though on a 56k it'll take something like 200 seconds to load? and what do u think? first animation I've ever really done b4, am I going too far? I want it to be (when finalized) like an anime trailer, but not take half an hour to load on 56 k. man I talk a lot. well just looking for imput, that's all.... OH YEAH! anyone know how to optimize lots of pencil lines so they still look perfect but load fast? or gradients like that? or SOMETHING? thanks!

hey, sorry for double-posting, but here's what I've done so far (actually, the final skeleton version with aalllllllll the painted in details is about a meg, so I'm not uploading that one, instead just uploaded the original skeleton and 16 frames of beta.)

    hey, glad u liked it!
each frame took about 7 minutes. I was going over guidelines that'd been drawn adn re-drawn over and over on other layers, so it was pretty easy. BTW how's that for a 14 year old? (being i turn 15 in a few days!)

Something I put together for an ecard marketer. They didn't like it so tell me what you think. It's one of my favorites.

    Sup in this internet.

I have been on hiatus. Here is a hilarious animated gif of a man with a monocle, a top hat, and a suit, waving to the public who surely can't afford such classy clothing.
