    jaggered text gone forever?

I was wondering how to make a textbox in flash without making the text 'clear' which is what flash automatically does to it. I need the text to be jaggered.

    Thank-you in advance,
    Alex

Use dynamic text and don't embed the font.

    Or use a device font.

Put a text box in a movie clip and scale the clip, can make the text look messy and jagged I guess.

If you don't embed the font used in a dynamic textfield, it will remain sharp if that's what you mean by jaggered. You should in fact be talking about aliased and antialiased text...

Setback is that, if you don't embed the font, all users may not see the same font. You can also use a embedded pixel font, which under certain other restrictions will remain sharp and crisp eventhough it's embedded, thus seen by all.
