I think it's a good job that keeps the right feel for the type of art that is included in it, especially considering that you are learning flash as you go.
Keeping this in mind, a couple of design ideas for you:
1) Try and utilize those "picture boxes" where the buttons are in the navigation. I would use them almost as a window pane type of thing where the images beneath them make on larger image that your brain can piece together what would be in the white space.
2) For the flash part, try and incorporate all of your pop up stuff within the flash environment. People hate pop ups and will get annoyed closing all of those windows. It takes some time, but you seem like you have an idea of what you are doing - take a look at some other peoples sites to see how to achieve this.
Good job.

Make the navigation more clearly defined...I like the splash graphic better than the main graphic on the site, where you've split the splash img in half; try and use the whole piece.I agree w Hanratty about the buttons and Flash bits.
Other than that, nice work.
FYI :: DSL, IE 6, Win Me, 1280 x 1024
Hoping for PowerBook G4

1) I'll see what I can do about it.
2) I tried to put the drawings into the site whithout the pop-up windows but the website was getting too large. I don't know how I can load up the pictures on the site like I see in other flash creations...
Perhaps someone can help me with this?
Btw , thx for the tips

cool design man! Alright, for loading pictures into the interface, you use:
code:
loadMovie("folder/pic.jpg");
Look arround in the refference or go to the flashmx forum and oldnewbie will help u out if you run into problems.
If you want a quicker solution then theres allso components for loading pictures, theres even a gallery component.
Note that using this component you will have to learn how the component work and write an xml document with your picture file names, but the guy who made it provides example files from his site.
I dont know if this was mentioned before, but I think that the buttons should contain smoother transitions between their up and over states, or maybe just some simple masked tweens of the images you are allready using.

its easy to use.
what about making it a little smoother -- things like rollon AND offs for the menu buttons and the image thumbnails?
Just thoughts, but what about bringing the drawing thumbnails over a little to the left, opening up more space on the right and using this space for the larger images -- loading each image externally to keep filesize down and cutting out the need for the popups.
looking good
