    please critique....

I'm fairly new at Flash so any useful critiques would be helpful.

Do you think the file size is too big? Can it be decreased?

How do you fade text? I tried the tutorial using static and dynamic but for some reason it wasn't working. I'm trying to fade IN and then back OUT with both text boxes (as you can see in the fla). Feel free to help and explain.

Lastly...do you think the bitmap is moving too slow? Should I increase the fps for the movie? Should I enlarge the size of the viewing box?

Feel free to make any changes you think will help.

    Thanks.
    Ryan

ok all you have to do is change the static text box in your KevinMorgan_mc to a graphic...

Select "I am Kevin Morgan" -> Right Click -> Convert to Symbol ->

Convert it to a graphic... then you can give it properties of graphics... like alpha, colour, hue, tint, ect ect. Otherwise the text ignores those properties and stays as just plain old text wether you want it to fade or not!

I'm kind of hoping that you know how to create a motion tween... 1. Insert a keyframe at the end of the animation... by either right clicking the specific frame and choosing "Insert Keyframe" or by pushing F6 when you are in the specific frame...

    2. Insert a motion tween by right clicking on the frame at the beginning of the animation and selecting "Add Motion Tween"

The rest you should play with to see what happens from start to finish... play with it alot move the graphic to another location or change the colour at the specified end of the animation ( the keyframe)

There are alot of tutorials out there... but if you need further assistance keep on posting...
