My desktop has no image but rather interactive piece of artwork.
I have an HTML page as my desktop wallpaper.
I made a few things in flash like Quick Access System to access the resources of my system at the click of a button.
Then a small introduction of mine.
Then the background has been made in photoshop.
I aligned all my icons at a particular place and locked my desktop, so that the icons don't move from that place.
This was I have a rather interactive desktop.

nice set up no tech wish i had the money and the graphics card to set that up do you need 2 keyboards and mouses or does your mouse jsut travel across both screens?
all duel monitors is like additional desktop space. useless i think unless you are a designer of some type.
i can no longer design on a one monitor computer. seems too cluttered. with 2 u can set all your palettes on one screen and your workspace on the other. very convenient.
it doesnt cost alot. you dont even need a big one. i used to have a 15 inch 2nd monitor. its actually perfect for all the palettes. and than the 19 one for the work space. but mine just broke so i said why not. and got a flat 19".
price watch should have hella cheap 15-17 inch ones.
i think if you dont have a graphics card with duel output you have to buy 2. i used to have 2 cards, but the newer graphics cards pretty much all have duel outputs on them, and i got one of them now.
