I dig it. Nice and simple, yet works well. It has a nice relaxed feel to it also. If anything I might suggest some nice mellow music in the background and some ambient sounds to go with it (like when you change pages).

Also, I noticed in the "Accomodations" (which is spelled "Accommodations" - you're missing an "M") section that when you click on one of the picture/links, the new window pops around the screen and you see what looks like one of the graphics to the website in the background of it, then the photo pops in (it seems like a bug).

I'd also suggest to position the new windows off to the side of the picture/links to the other photos.

Lastly, the buttons feel a little too run together for me... maybe a dash between them or a "|" to help seperate them some.

    Welp, there's my 2 cents.

3lefts - good point about accommodation - have changed that.

Interesting bug you're talking about - what os/browser are you on?

Also, there are some bg sounds - nature and a bit of wind when you change pages. They are very quiet though - I didn't want to annoy people. Maybe they are WAY too subtle though.

    thanks for your help,
    feisty.

    Cool

Nice background painting. It has a cool look to it that other sites I've seen don't... very unique. I think the name/title could be made easier to read and the navigation could be put below the painting. But otherwise it is nice.

I very much like the opening sequence. And the fact that you kept the feel the same from it. Simple but unique! I dig it...

I loved the artistic feel, but I really think that the site could benefit if you used something other than the component scrollbars that are currently in use. You have this whole pastel/paper thing going on, and then the harsh scrollbar takes away from the atmosphere.

i love it, the scrollbar isnt to big of a deal.. the sounds of the birds should be a tad louder, i really like it though, very original in my opinion.

Ya, sounds are really soft... I had to turn my volume way above normal to hear them (no i'm not hard of hearing hehe).

I also agree about the scroll bar... but it's not a big deal. If you change it it would improve it... if you leave it it's not gonna kill you.

As for the rest, see my post above.

    Overall, very nice!

I like it, it's nice and fluid. I am glad you didn't jump on the pixel font bandwagon.
One thing that needs to be changed is the position of the preloader. Don't put it at the bottom right; at the very least, center it.

Have changed the scrollbars - you were all absolutely right they were way too straight and harsh for the site. Also have increased the bg volume - I want to keep it subtle though:
