<edit> ive based my design around 1024x768 cos this seems to be the most used res by other people. i will be workin on a 1280x1024 version when the site comes closer to completion. 800x600 users should have no problems at all

    dude, very cool

the only problem i had was the opening screen where you ahd to click on the blue thing. it was a little hard to finally get that that's what you had to do. maybe just play it all through to the menu

    otherwise great work

    I like your animations.

    The sounds fit.

I'd have to see how the content would fit into this to say more. If everything is to squeeze into the hexagon, then I'm assuming that content would be minimal.

The only complaint I have is your navigation. It's interesting, but I just don't like always having to go back to the main menu to get to my destination. Its a minor issue and I'm sure you can leave it as is.

D-von - ill make it more clear that u click the logo, or just make it run through.

MarvynDT - the content will be minimal on the text side of things so it will all fit fine. i was thinking about adding small text links instead of having to go back to the main nav. still thinkin on that one...
    cheers for all the comments
    keep em coming

The design and animations look really cool. The only thing is, I find it hard to visualize a whole site running and performing inside the HEX. It seems like you have a really awesome element for a site, but I can't see a whole site riding on that one design.

Jeez .. that is quite a site .. not much content there quite yet .. but it looks real neat .. I will be happy the day I become proficient enough in Flash to design a site like that .. but till then I will just keep giving people compliments on their good work ..

    keep it up ..

Hey, I was one of the ones who said you're other site wasn't corporate enough and I think this is so much better, again the same as everyone else my only beef is with the size of the hexagon, as to whether you can fit enough info in it.
Maybe when the hexagon expands, I would expand the links as-well.

Good work my fellow Hully Gully.

Nice. Sounds are quite effective. Like the masking also.

Noticed one thing about the navigation. If you're staying with the same architecture, you might want to introduce a variable that prevents "HOME" from reloading if the user has already selected and that section has loaded and is present.

    NICE!

    Very nice work thus far!

Not much content to judge yet, but the design at least promises a little
more clarity (lighter colours, smooth transitions, and overall easing of atmosphere).

I like it. Good job Jamie!

mganda - you'll just have to wait to see how its gunna work. dont expect no arty farty launch party with a loada DJ's nobodys every heard of.

akshtray - thats the way i did it. only put a link to your site when your good enough for people not to say "well u can talk, ur site is s**t", thats wot i did.

p_due18 - "Maybe when the hexagon expands, I would expand the links as-well"... i dont understand what you mean. same again with the hexagon, you'll just have to wait n see

    pr0004 - cheers

hothousegraphix - if you mean getting rid of the button that links to the page your on then that wont be a problem because you cant see the buttons when on a page. i may be totally wrong and just misunderstood tho...

    hGraf Design - cheers

hopefully ill get some pages done this week. ive just started college so im a bit busy with other things. ill keep you all posted
    cheers

I really like it, original style...

When you do integrate the content you could possibly have the hexagon go back to it's smaller size and "morph" towards the top of the screen with the header inside it... To give your more room to work with the content... *shrugs*

You have done a great work . It's cool.

Now I think this can be used only for one layered menu.

Can you make it possible that, if a user want to go to a top layer he has to click directly on the menu, instead of clicking goto main and then click another link.

    Check my website,
    :: Digital Galaxy ::

Here I have used the menu for easy navigation.
    Please poast some feedback.

    Good Work !!

good luck at college. i think it is a very promising start. nice work. i would keep those links on the sides to services, work, etc when the hexagon gets big and get rid of the menu link. you can have it shrink then get big again for your transition from section to section.
