Thats pretty damn good. You have an html tag in the upper left corner. Not crazy about blue with those colors. That tan or whatever and red works well. Reads a bit soft and light in contrast, but looks good so far.

Ok darken up the text and ax the blue.. I didn't really like that blue too much either. Got any ideas for a replacement color?

hmmm, red would work, but the red that is there works well, so don't do that. Try a dark gray, or a brownish tan. The drop shadow behind the blue stands out, you might want to try doutone effect color wise. Play off the current colors, darker shades.

solid design. Urban seemed to hit all my points already.
One thing (and a minor one at that) is that I would change "learning: 3d Studio max" to something like "basic knowledge of:..." or "understanding of...".
Two reasons. 1. "learning" makes it sound as if you unsure of your ability. "Understanding of" on the other hand makes it seem as, although you may not know the entire program, you are confident and comfortable with the sections you do know. 2. It will probably be a while before you need to address your knowledge and if you are continually learning you will be under estimating you skills by that time.

Alright thanks mganda and Urbansory. Sorry to drag this out but I have one last thing to ask . I showed this to a pal of mine in class and he absolutley hates the pixel pink floyd in my "about" section. I tried putting a gradiant behind it to "spruce" it up a bit but it seems that it's the pixleation (is that a word?) of the picture he hates... He's a photoshop guy so he may just find anything that isn't smooth and beveled blasphemous, but I thought I'd ask about it anyways. Any thoughts on the pixely guys?

I'm not big on gradients unless they work which is rare. I figured it was meant to be abstract, considering the color and contrast, so it didn't bother me.

Really nice looking!
A better quality image with the same colors maybe...
Looks sloppy as is
Maybe try tracing that same image? Gives it an almost cartoony feel, but can look sleek
