    Flash Intro check for newbie

    Hello All,

I'm new to flash, but made an attempt at creating an intro to a sports tournament site. The intro is a bit heavy, so I would like some input from some of the experts on how to set up a welcome page for those 56k users versus high speed users. Also, any other input would be most appreciative. Remember, I'm new at this so be gentle...

I will be as gentle as I can you wicked magnificent bastard

I like it, reminds me of one of those Nike commercial. I'd change only one thing. The preloader looks ghettolicious.

Thanks for the input Terro. Yeh, you're right about the preloader, it's just a temporary. Do you have any suggestions for a cool animation preloader for this type of site? Also, will I run into any copyright problems for using that 30 sec sound snippet of the last loop being played?

I like the animation....but you need a new preloader.

Im not sure if you would run in to any copyright problems becuase of the song but I would say your ok as long as you put somewhere that its not your song.

The beggining was awsome with the words fading in and out.

Not sure, if I were doing it I'd maybe make a basketball going into the hoop. Just don't copy past a b-ball picture, I find that vector preloaders work nice. Just redraw it in flash, dont make it to awsome or it'll take away from the animation.

Maybe I'd have a basketball just bouncing on the spot in a continuous loop until the intro loads.
One thing about the animation... the cheerleaders look rubbish(changing the shape of the image doesn't work for me).
    Otherwise not bad, well done.
