OT - Quick Question... licensing rights

    Hi,

I have done some contracted digital illustrations (3d/photoshop) for a software company for their boxes. Now they want to purchase the rights to use one of my illustrations on their website. How much do I charge. I have been charging $85/hr for creating illustrations (usually turns out to be a 3K job).

Does anyone have any figures in mind for licensing and usage rights?

    Thanks,
    Flipsideguy

This is probably the best place to look:

I don't know if this information is online, but it might be worth a trip to the library or bookstore. Basically, it depends largely on the size of the audience and useage rights.

I have an older copy at home that i could check, let me know.
