Forms In Flash Using Pearl Cgi

    HI There :O)

I just want to create a form in flash with a few dynamic text fields and some MX combobox components...

Basically, the user fills out the form, email address etc and their details are automaticaly emailed to me via a script on the server. Trouble is my (well, my client's )host only suports cgi/pearl scripts, does this make the task impossible ???

Has anyone had any success with this in Flash, if so I would really appreciate asome advice, especially a tutorial link tht 'actually works' !

I've produced forms in html and it was plain sailing. Flash seems a different matter. I've scoured the web and gone over quite a few tutorials but to no avail. The Macromedia support tutorial and sample files only allow the user tho create forms that sent results back to a Flash movie and not an email addres.

    Many thanks in Advance

    Kind Regards

    Thanks KAT

    Thank You Kat

Does the formail.pl script work with Flash?

The Readme (and the site) just states that it works with HTML.... I gues the POST command on the submit button is pretty much the same either way.

Do you have an example of a working .fla flash file you could email me, one with text fields (and the ActionScript) that posts to the pearl
then to an email address? I'd love to get this working.

Your time is Very much apppreciated Kat (reallygood of you).

    Thanks :O)
