new broadband portfolio
www.orangeocean.net/jay
Can any one with broadband take a look and see what load times are like, and other comments would also be very welcome as i have put everything into this one. 56k version coming in the next couple of days.
Thanks, Jay.

I love the idea and look of your site. Excellent work. Just one thing though. On your preloader, there is a bit that the cover, doesn't cover. It's near the middle and you can see the base of the tree (??) thing.
Other than that. Great job. Though I can't tell you about broadband load times because I'm a 56ker.

Great looking site. No design complaints here. The only thing I would say is take the 0/5 and 1/5 coments out of the 'skillset' page. NO client wants to see that!!

Simple, clean, pixel fonts - the works. Site is great, I would think the site could become even more great with more content, even though I can see your point in having it the way it is.. keep it up.

Hi Jay, how you doing? long time since we last talked...
now, about the site, i like the concept but has usual i have some comments on it and personal opinions.
the way the nav works is nice but would be cool to have it slide back up on rollout IMO.
althought the nav concept is good i think it's a little boring and i think maybe it would be good if you had it just for the works and do another different thing for the about and contact sections and the way it's displayed just like another work makes it a little confusing.
anyway, nice to see your work once again, keep it up

loving it, the only thing that caught my eye the wrong way was the arrows to send the menus back up. they seem too big, clunky or something, dunno exactly, they just don't fit well. maybe just getting rid of them and making the menus roll up on click would be fine, they don't really hurt anyone while down.

cheers for the feedback, some valid points, but i sort of wanted to make it hard to roll back out, because the rollovers build up a final image. And one day, one day, i will make a site that itworks will like 100% Then i will retire. como esta?

well, now i'll never tell you i like your sites 100% otherwise you'll retire and we won't see more work by you
but note that all the issues i pointed are based on personal taste and there's nothing that i really dislike or doesn't work.
bom trabalho !

well I had a read through the comments and I pretty much agree.
Fantastic site, fresh colour scheme, very small loading times (512kb) and an impressive portfolio.
I still haven't made up my mind if I should comment on the navigation, although very smooth and slick it's kind of like too much at once - but on the other hand very accessible and logical.
anyway Jay, I replied your PM
nice work

Very nice site. A little small at 1280x1024, but not unreadable or anything. Quick load times for me too. One thing, I think the arrows should be clicked on to roll the menu back up, but thats just me; either way works, really.
