    RK Design Studio

I have been so busy these last few months, I haven't had any time to work on the ol' portfolio. Tell me what you think. Sound scape and more portfolio stuff to come soon.

I like the choice of colors, and think the layout is pretty decent. Those "post-it" boxes with text really gives the site something extra. However, it's the kinda site that might look better with a pixel font... try it out.

    Nice job

I'll disagree with Tea on this one, I like the bold font you're using, it looks good.

A nice touch you may want to add is when the viewer selects Custom Audio, a nicely produced soundscape played, something with alot of emotional push, so they get a first-hand dose of the effect that music can bring to their site. Perhaps you'll sell more audio that way.

designwise i think its really nice, i would have something more visual on the front page though, as i was waiting for a picture or animation to start and it just stayed blank. I would also lose the pricing, i've never found it helps, when you have set rates people tend to take the piss on what they want, and start including various sub sections as part of the price of one page.

first off looks good-- like you know know what you're doing...

    here's a few things:

pricing section, web site packages, platinum package...
you've spelled professional POfessional. unless you're sellin sweet tea and biscuits with these packages i'm assumin it's a typo...

i'm also not too keen on having your section title look the same as your links (the red square on top of the gray squares and what not).

i think you should make the section title look different that people won't get confused between the two...

    but overall good stuff...

oops, I hate typos, I fixed that one.

I never used to have pricing, but most of my clients are startup businesses who are starting from scratch...websites are really the last thing on their list. Since I've posted package pricing on my website, I have increased the amount of cash deposits by 15%. AND clients always want more featrures than the packages allow for.

Jacket Weather is working on the soundscape for me, it should be ready to go next week.

I'm stumped on the page tab comment...you are probably right, I'll think about it some more.

    KEEP EM' COMING...I love feedback.

    very nice and decent design.

what about a small animation in the logo then and when (some kinds of flames or so)

    give it a try...

Thats funny, we arn't pointing fingers here are we?

Just so you can witness the shameful process of my originality (lol) I will post some files that date back to 2001. I considered calling RK Design, Media Mill and Vector Tree...but finally decided on my initials(rk)in 2002. I actually got the idea for the left navigation from www.teknision.com

I think you will agree that I am not a hack.

Definitely a great portfolio site. But I have to ask, where can I find the script for your global nav menu that appears on the left with scroll features?

Not a lot of script. I used movie clips for each bar...one that goes up/one that goes down...and assigned an action for every position. Was confusing at first...but I think I could do much better now.
