    a site for yall to check

    if youre like me, you dont read this. you simply look for the blue underlined stuff and click it and post youre comments.

    very nice. good idea, good execution if not a little narssisitic (sp)

    the only thing i would change is the rollovers. the lite blue looks a little out of place color wise.

    fill it with content and they will come.

    lite blue? on the about section? its actually 330000, or really dark red.

    the roll over color that comes across the text looks lite blue on my machine. dont know what to tell you

    Looks relatively good. Nicely balanced
    splash page. Just one minor idea I had
    in mind. You know that RECENT WORK
    screenshot? (Green trees and road). How
    about you make it a monotone color to
    blend it with the overall color theme.
    Then.... On rollover, the picture with
    the actual colors fade in. On rollout, it
    fades back to the brown/redish color.


    P.S. I'm getting that blue thing too...

    jeff: wierd... dunno what to say. are we talking about the animated buttons with the shape tween bg or the regular buttons with the rollover? the regular buttons are the 330000 and the animated ones have cccccc in the bg

    veniogenesis: yeah, that might be cool. i have to change the pic anyway since its such low quality and right now it doesnt blend in well

    wierd about the blue thing.... which buttons exactly?

    anyone else?

    No need to have a "loaded, click to enter" button, just enter when loaded, save us a click.

    Your scroll bar in boi text should be set up to show the button-style cursor, and the reason is because that scroller blends into the bg pretty good, any indication that it's a scroller would be cool.

    Neat little site man.

    wow thats quite bizarre.

    When I saw the preloader and splash page I thought this looks familiar. I was working on a version of my digital portfolio some time long ago and it looked so similar, I was shocked!

    For example the links in your about page.
    Oh man... I think it's an optical illusion. It looks gray when you zoom really close to it. That must be it.

    ssc somic: so you dont like the extra click eh? neither do a bunch of other people. maybe ill ditch it. yeah, i guess the scroll bars do blend in a little too much, maybe some traditional style arrows would help them to be more obvious

    bvgroote: wierd... do you have the site you were talking about up? id be interested in seeing it for myself. yeah, great minds think alike

    veniogenesis: ohh.... wierd about the buttons. must be the gray against the backround that makes em look blue. ive been considering changing them since i dont think the gray/blue fit in very well anyway. they were from another site and im too lazy to go back and change em all.

    anyone know how to fix the buttons so that if you rolloever and go outside the swf they dont stick?

    I'd just like to say I love the textures on your site... and it loads fast also. Did you like scan some stuff and monotone it, or just use 100% say... photoshop or whatever and brush around with that? Nice site btw. very.... comforting feel to it.
