general help question
I have a scene in my Flash MX movie where there's a dynamic text feild that takes up the majority of the stage, and i gave it a scroll bar. I have alot of text in the text feild. When I run the movie it works fine, it scrolls alright, and the text stays where it's supposed to.
However, if I save, exit flash and come back, i see that the text feild made itself much bigger, so that it would fit all of the text without having to be scrolled down. This makes it go down past the limit of the stage. Has any one else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

In the property inspector of your textbox,
try set it to "multiline" or "multiline no wrap", maybe this helps.

The problem I was describing occurs when it's a multiline dynamic text feild. Changing it to single line or multiline no wrap does change it, but puts the text all on one or two lines that have to be scrolled horizontally, which is definitely not what I'm trying to get.

And the tags on the right of that, selectable, render ashtml etc..
I think none of them should be on.
