FLASH MX 2004 v FLASH MX....

Hi, i have recently invested around £400 GBP in Flash MX books covering communication server, coldfusion intergration etc etc etc...Now i find that flash MX has been superceded by MX 2004, is this a major upgrade?

If i upgrade to 2004 are my books going to be still valid as i understand actionscript is now at 2.0, should i just sell them on ebay, swallow the heavy loss and invest in some MX 2004 books instead?

    Thanks in advance

you can still author using actionscript 1, but if you are into application development i'd read up on AS2. I have Colin Moock's "Actionscript - The Definitive Guide" which is based on flash 5 and i'm always looking in it.
