    compressing sound files **Expert help needed**

    Is there anyway i can compress an mp3 file and use it as a swf file? i have a file i wanna use as bg and its, well....2 meg+....ANY help is appreciated

    import mp3 and export swf...

    i tried to compress another mp3 file, and that worked, but the one i wanna compress doesnt work, any ideas why?

    what?? importing?? exporting?? bad file size??

    i imported a mp3 file and exported it as a swf file, both had the same size

    2 things...

    1. check out audio stream and audio event when u r exporting swf..

    2. maybe that mp3 is already 16kbps or whatever u choose so u cant compress it again..

    thanks i solved the problem, edgen helped me with it , i had to set it to streaming
