<cough>I agree </cough>
I love the 'idea' of this section, but like most, don't have any clue where to start.
"We have Flash! Let us onto your mobile devices!"

it would be nice if there were a table outlining a given device player's support for most commonly used Flash features, especially since some of the device players seem to be limited in one way or another.
Basic Flash player version? (5,6, Flash Lite etc)
Does a given device player support XML?
can you load external media or data into a given player?
is a given player a standalone or browser based?
general support for media (sound, video, bitmap graphics)?
suggested maximum frame rate?
etc.
This would be a handy way to compare player features to determine target audience for a given application's functionality.
Not sure if this would be effective as a FAQ, perhaps this should be something that MM does on their site.

The 'faq' is coming.
While there are a few basic fundamental differences in mobile versus desktop development, the most challenging aspect is starting to think from a mobile perspective.
It's tempting to think of a mobile device as a 'tiny desktop' but it's not. We'll be covering a lot of development topics in this forum as well as shifting over towards a mobile perspective.
A good way to get started is to look at the content development kits from Macromedia:
http://www.macromedia.com/devnet/dev...ment_kits.html
The two to look at first might be:
• Macromedia Flash Content Development Kit for the NTT DoCoMo 505i Series
• Macromedia Flash Player 6 for Pocket PC Developer Kit:
as they'll give you a good idea of the range of Flash's capabilities on mobile device. Flash Lite (used for the DoCoMo 505i Series) supports most Flash 4 Action Script while the Pocket PC Player 6 supports Flash 6 Action Script.
