    $250,000

I can't even believe what I just saw. This partner of mine just started helping with the marketing of a local company, and this company paid someone $250,000 to make a cd rom - all HTML totaling about 10 pages.

The cd is not even selling because it is impossible to navigate. I tried to use it and had no clue. It is the biggest piece fo crap in the world! I want to meet the person who sold it to him.

You really have no idea how bad it was. I consider myself VERY web savy, after all, I am a designer. I couldn't get past the third step (because I didn't know where to click) and there are maybe 10 steps in the process on the rom.

    lucky...

If it's really bad, the price tag sounds steep, but price never surprises me. If you can convice someone to pay an amount, more power to you. I know of a company that spend $21 million on it's web site. Granted, it was complex, but that's ALOT of money. Wish it was in my pocket...

    Holy freakin cow.

    And to Davo:

I didn't read your article, but are you bashing America? If so, wtf. We are all entitled to our opinions, but why do people have to run others into the ground, disproving this-and-that?

If not, people who do suck.
The other day, I bought a box of animal crackers. On the side, it said "Do Not Eat if Seal is Broken". I opened the box and sure enough...

Payments, eh? How do you know for certain they paid $250,000? When people talk about what they get paid, I never believe it until I see proof.

As Dubby sez, America will never run. Except from the VietCong of course, which doesn't count. And if it weren't for the God old U States of A we'd all be speaking Vietnamese now. Gob less, America.
    We're all in it together

FK user named BlazerFanatic offered me 100 dollars to make a game for him, made it, sent it, never received the money.... I hate it when that happens....
